GENERAL FAQS
We work from our studio at The Goldsmiths Centre you can visit us there by appointment. If you can't make it to our studio, we are happy to work with you whatever your location. Just book an appointment to discuss your commission via zoom.

We offer free shipping with Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK. International shipping via Fedex or DHL will be added at checkout. Someone will need to be at the address to receive your package. Please be aware that duties and taxes on international shipments are payable by the client. If you have an urgent order, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to help.
There's no need to travel to our studio to collect. We ship within the UK via Royal Mail Special and Internationally via Fedex or DHL. Within London we can also bike urgent pieces by arrangement. If you would like to come to the studio to pick up your design, please ensure you book an appointment in advance.
We would be delighted to show you our designs at our studio. Alternatively, check our stockists here to see if they have a design in stock
All of our prices include a UK VAT rate of 20%. We do not charge VAT if we are shipping your piece out of the UK.
All of our designs are hallmarked in accordance with UK law. Each design is stamped with traditional hallmarks and a makers mark.

We are located a 3-minute walk from Farringdon Tube Station on the corner of Britton Street, Albion Place and Benjamin Street.
The Elizabeth Line services run from Paddington (to Heathrow and Reading), Abbey Wood and Liverpool Street (to Shenfield).
Mainline rail services (City Thameslink and Southern Trains) run from Brighton, Haywards Heath, Gatwick Airport, East Croydon, London Bridge, London Blackfriars, Sutton, Wimbledon, London St Pancras International, St Albans City, Luton and Bedford to Farringdon.
Buses 63, 55 and 243 pass near the Goldsmiths’ Centre.
63 – King’s Cross, Farringdon Station – Honor Oak
55 – Oxford Circus – Clerkenwell Road – Leyton Baker’s Arms
243 – Waterloo – Clerkenwell Road – Wood Green
Please note that there is limited parking around Farringdon tube station and there is no parking at the Goldsmiths’ Centre. Paid parking is sited at 1 Bowling Green Lane, EC1R 0BD.
The Goldsmiths’ Centre is step-free and with full lift access. There are accessible facilities on site.
JEWELLERY
Many of our designs are Made To Order. We carried a limited amount of stock, but if you are interested in a design we will make this to your size and specifications.
We also offer Custom adaptations to our existing designs, where you can choose the stone colour or size and select your choice of metal.
Alternatively, you can select a fully Bespoke service where we will show you drawings and provide you with options so that you can select the design and materials of your choice. For more information on our bespoke and custom designs see here, or for details on our commissions process see here.
As many of our designs are made to order, we only carry a limited range of stock and sizes. If there is a specific design that you would like to see, please contact us and we will advise.
If you are ordering a design that we hold in Stock, then this will generally be sent out within 3 days, although we try to send more quickly.
For Made To Order items in our existing designs, our lead time is 2 months. If you are making Custom adaptations to a design, this may take slightly longer.
Our fully Bespoke jewels have a minimum 3 month lead time dependant on the design. We will advise on specific commissions by project.
You are welcome to visit our studio for a sizing. If you can't make it to London, we are happy to send out a ring sizing pack. If you are purchasing a ring for your partner, then feel free to get in contact us for our advice. All of our rings come with a complimentary sizing, so that we can ensure the final design fits correctly.
Absolutely. We'll advise on the best method for engraving your piece and talk you through designs and prices.
We work in recycled gold or platinum as standard. Flora is a Fairmined licensee and a registered Fairtrade designer and we happy to make create a design in Fairmined or Fairtrade gold to order. Just let us know when we are discussing your design.
We love to rework old designs to update and refresh them to your style. Remodelling is a great way to create new jewellery whilst also reducing environmental impact. We can often re-use both metal and stones in your old pieces and will assess the stones and metal in your jewellery to advise you. Remodelled designs are treated as bespoke pieces and are subject to the same conditions and minimum 3 month lead time depending on the design.
We offer refunds on stock items only. You must return the design unworn in its original packaging and notify us and complete our returns form for your return within 14 days. Please see our full returns policy here and our warranty conditions here.
Please be aware that for hygiene reasons, we do not offer returns on earrings. Bespoke and custom designs cannot be returned but we want you to be happy - so do get in touch if you have any concerns.

We strongly recommend that all our clients insure their jewellery. We are happy to advise on normal wear and tear damage to our designs, however please note that Flora Bhattachary is not responsible for any damage to or loss of stones from your jewellery after purchase - see our warranty conditions here.
